The Ethical Review Tool

"Actively identify and address abuse situations and risks within organizations, enhance ethical practices, and empower the vulnerable by giving them a voice".

Objective

Actively identify and address risks and situations of ethical issues within an organization. The ERT is an active case-finding tool that strengthens prevention mechanisms by emphasizing ethical practices, valuing both "virtuous" and identifying "irresponsible" behaviors. It is not an investigative approach, but a means to reflect on the ethical conditions of an organization functioning. By listening to and recording the voices of the often unheard vulnerable, the ERT aims to break barriers to reporting abuse.
